Dear Students,

I have just updated a couple of things on the wiki page. It isn’t exactly ready with tasks and other things, but the core of it is there. Feel free to add content and suggest things for us to work on, ok?

The link is on your right, or you can just clik here.

Hopefully, I’ll be able to do so by the beginning of the week – I’ll try to get it ready by Wednesday. When it’s ready, I’ll post a message here for you guys.

Homework:

- Maximiser: p 16, 17, 20 21 and 22 (Grammar 2 only)

- Coursebook: CD-ROM – Unit 1

- Composition: Don’t forget to bring your composition in case you haven’t yet.

Howdy!

So, I’ll do my best to get our wiki going asap. In the meantime, you can pay a visit to the old version of it at http://atlantic-cae.wikispaces.com

Homework:

- Coursebook: p 20 – 22

- Come up with a list of words related to money. (I know I didn’t say this in class, but here it goes)

As soon as I have some news on the wiki, I’ll post it here, all right?

Cheers!

Hi there,

Today we continued working with Unit 5. We corrected homework from last class, worked on some vocabulary, had a listening practice – CB p 72, and also a Paper 3 Part 2 question.

Homework:

- Coursebook: p 74 – Language Focus: Grammar

- Exam Maximiser: p 40 – 43

- Extra reading: The Black Cat – you can find the text online at http://books.eserver.org/fiction/poe/black_cat.html

There will be a task for it on the wiki.

Cheers!

Dear students,

Today we finally finished unit 1. I hope the lesson on verb forms (tense x aspect) was profitable, as you’ll need it throughout the semester. As far as homework goes, have a look below:

- Coursebook: p16 exercise 6

- To do this writing, have a look at the exercises which came before (1 – 6). They will serve as a guideline to your writing.

- Coursebook: p17

- Handout: Unit 1 Test

Enjoy your weekend! Hope to see some of you tomorrow at Living the Language!

Roberta, get well soon!

Cheers,

Rick

Dear students,

Unfortunately, I faced some problems which prevented me from posting the homework to the blog. These were mainly technical problems with – I believe – the blog server. I hope all has been fixed by now.

Cheers,

Rick
